According to our opinion the coal use of the future is not the recreation of the traditional mining and traditional coal burning, but the introduction of the so called „clean coal technologies”.

What is the clean coal technology? The clean coal technology is the summary of all processes which eliminate or considerable reduce the environmental impact of the coal use.

There is a great importance of i.e. the methanol in the coal use as it is not only a chemical building block but has a series of advantageous properties for the energy use. The methanol can directly be used as a fuel component, and as a solvent and chemical building block, thus the methanol market is secure over the longer term.
